I wanted a company that had fire protection as well. That was something I was having trouble finding. I have not called Bay Alarm yet but I will be after the Holiday. I am not sure what to expect but knowing they have a key feature I have been looking to have gives me reason enough to call. Thanks for this review. Helped a lot!

You will not be able to find a company out there with no cons. That being said, yes I have has issue with Bay Alarm and while I would prefer lower prices and better equipment, I do like what I have. It works for me. I feel safer and my children don’t panic at night when I have to work late. My wife had so many issues with them since we had a break in last fall that I had to bite the bullet. Glad I did it.

What other companies have you tried? For some reason I can’t get Bay Alarm where I am. I am not sure seeing as I am in California. Anyways I am looking for other options and I want to get an idea as to what I can look in to. I know there are tons of other options out there.

I am a huge fan of Bay Alarm. I have been in California most of my life and of the security systems I have tried, Bay Alarm comes out on top every time. I actually tried another company for a few years and came back. If you want to keep your family safe it starts by having a security system installed.

I ended up having to move back home to where my family lives. I lost a job I had gotten in California 3 years ago. I had Bay Alarm for about 7 months and loved it until I had to back out of the contract. I eventually got them to agree with something but it took WEEKS. I lost my job and was losing my home. I did not have a choice.

I am new to the area so I was looking for some options. Can you tell me the other companies you tried out? Someone had told me about Bay Alarm so I did a bit of research and landed here. I just want to know all my options.

I have recently moved to California so I was looking for a local place. I am going to have to give them a ring. Between your comment and the review above, they sound perfect for me! I didn’t want to just jump into bed with the first security company I could find since most have long contracts.

As someone who is in California, I have been able to use Bay Alarm as well as a few other long standing companies. I made the choice to drop them back in 2011 because of some issues I was having. I tried a few other companies but ended up coming back. For what it is worth, they may not be the best but in California, they are one of the more reliable and affordable.

I was a little disappointed that they were only in California. My friend has them and always talks so highly of their service and friendliness. They even helped move her security system when she moved!! I’ve never heard of a company doing this before! If I loved in CA I would definitely use their service!

I didn’t mind that this company was only California based. I love all the high tech features they have. The cons really are not cons to me
